Achievement is national. Opportunity often isn't.

Sri Lanka produces exceptional students in every district, not only in Colombo. What differs is what happens next. A top result in a rural school and a top result in a city school open the same door - but only one student usually walks through it with the equipment to keep up

The ceremony.

Held at 606 The Address in Colombo, the event brought together students, families and representatives from across the education system. A.B.M. Ashraff, Additional Secretary to the Prime Minister's Office, attended alongside Zonal Directors from the Ministry of Education. Lenovo's regional leadership travelled for it — Naveen Kejriwal, Director for Lenovo South Asia, and Shekhar Karmakar, Regional Head of Overseas Business for Lenovo India.

"Every great achievement begins with an opportunity. Investing in education is one of the most meaningful investments we can make in the future of Sri Lanka." - Famy Ismail, Chairman

Small thing, large gap.

A laptop is a small thing against the scale of a national education system. But for a student moving from a village school into a university course that assumes a machine at home, it closes a gap that would otherwise cost them their first year.
